I haven't been able to download a episode for quite some time..

Does anyone know Dodd Vickers and find out more?

I've just started to get into this. A really great podcast. We really need more close up magic podcasts.

I love these podcasts, and noticed they'd stopped appearing. I guessed it was one of two things: 1) After doing this for years, it's gotten more difficult to find guests who haven't already appeared multiple times and who will draw significant downloads/streams; 2) Dodd hasn't had time to do new interviews. It's got to be time consuming to prepare for these interviews -- and Dodd is incredibly well prepared for each one. He tweeted in January about having three months of work ahead of him on a film. It's probably tough to do the "day job" and maintain a quality podcast.

I still listen to some favourite interviews from time to time, but I'd love to see a new one every month or so. They're great contributions to magic.

On Scott Wells's podcast Dodd goes into detail on what he's been doing since his podcast wound down ... and future plans. Among other things it was interesting to hear about his regular job working in the film industry in Atlanta.

The podcast was on hiatus. It has been folded into the Conjuring Arts Research Center with the goal being to have them all transcribed and searchable via text. I am working on several new episodes and hope to have one new one each month. I have also been in the process of fixing the dead links which appeared when I was forced to move the hosting service to a new provider.
