Hello friends, we have just introduced to the magic market a line with Eisenhower One Dollar Coins and a Copper coin with the same size as One dollar coin. The first gimmick is the One dollar copper and silver. But in a few days you will find in your favorite dealer Hopping half, Scotch and Soda and Scotch and Soda Magnetic with the same coins.

Think bigger, make your magic bigger, use One Dollar Coins.

Hi Mr. Tango, please consider releasing gimmicks in Morgan dollar version also!

Thanks for your great products. I have almost every Tango coin and they work great!

I have questions, if Mr. Tango wouldn't mind answering...what coin is used for the copper? And will the Johnson Ike Expanded shell fit over this?

It's a copper Walking liberty.
Personally I'd rather have a Indian Rupee
and not those cheap looking copper bullion discs.

I don't think there is any copper Indian rupee of that size.

Yes, I think that's the one, is that coin what Roy Kueppers refers to as the Indian 5 Rupee?

Shakuni, Does India have any large dollar sized coins?

I'm assuming that that this is a set consisting of an ungimmicked copper coin and a gimmicked IKE dollar? BTW, I couldn't figure out what copper coin is being used.

Sir Richard.

Roy is mistaken if he believes the 5 Rupee coin is Indian. For Purposes of patter, the 50 on the coin commemorates the 50th anniversary of the UN founding. I believe the new moon and star on the reverse have some significance in the Muslim religion which is dominant in Pakistan but is a touchy subject in India (but perhaps Shakuni would have a better idea about that subject).

That's right. the new moon and star symbol has a religious significance for Muslims. But its not a touchy subject in India. In fact, there are more Muslims in India then in Pakistan Smile

Is the Muslim population large enough in India that Muslim symbology could be included on coinage without objection?

Ohh No, I am not saying that the coin posted above is an Indian coin. Its definitely a coin from Pakistan.

Earlier coins and currency from India had details in 17 popular languages in India. But now the coins have details only in two languages, English and Hindi.

Same here Dougini, I don't think I was asking that much. We're talking 50 bucks plus S & H, so I need to know BEFORE I buy.

Hi, its probably because Mr. Tango don't come on forum everyday. I always get a reply from him. Sometime it takes a few days for him to reply as he is busy. But he will reply for sure.
