I was very fortunate to have known Tommy, in my mind one of the comedy greats of all time. I have countless DVDs and unlike some comedy it is still funny today. I remember years ago being in the old downstairs Martin breese studio, showing him one of my pet effects which he could have easily worked out and performed it, but I later got a letter from him asking if he minded if he used it, how things have changed.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

You are certainly fortunate to have met him, I only admired him as a punter. Wonderful performer, in the realms of genius. |

Great memories, in 1989 we had a mini hurricane here and iI lost a lot of things in the flood, worst of all I lost boxes of potos, wedding day , kids when they were Young etc. Fortunately my mother had copies of most of them but my potos with Tommy are gone forever. I only have one now very faded, but the memories have not faded.

I'll bet. Great to hear your experiences, George. Not everyone quite appreciates how brilliant he really was. Wish I had met him.
