Anyone use Magician's Nightmare? If so, what is your opinion about it? Is it better than Professor's Nightmare?
Thanks. Richard |

If that is the CD that Hank Lee Sells with a gimmick...it looks good on video, but unless you plan on using it as an opening effect....it is usless.
I was very disapointed because I did not plan on using it as an opener (not strong enough).... so, it was a waste for me. Jeff

"Professor's Nightmare" was one of the first magic effects that I ever learned and, with a few minor variations in handling, is still the version that I use. Improvements come and go but the tried and true will be around for ever! JMHO.
Cheers!

Frankly I saw the video demo and wasn't impressed, to me it looks like a gag to fool magicians who know professors nightmare, didn't buy it, but to me it looks extremely obvious as to the how-to, not sure it would fool lay folks

I, too, wasn't very impressed with the video. There sure was a lot of "busy-ness" with the hands just to get to the end of the effect.
It really seams like an effect for the local magic club meeting, but not for laymen. The original PF is much more straight forward and effective. This trick is a step back. Ron |
