I watched this video of a 14 year old trying to fool Penn & Teller. In short, he gave a deck of cards to Penn, let him cut the deck, then cut to only glimpse at a card. The deck was given to Teller to start dealing cards down onto the table. Meanwhile, the boy slowly determined what the card Penn chose(correctly), and then told Teller to deal the next card onto the center of the table, and it was revealed to be the same card.

I understand the kid did an effect BEFORE the one in the clip. It was edited out for time.
