I worked out my variant of Flip's/Tommy's routine with Tommy when he was still with us. The script goes that we founded a club of magicians that have to prove their skill by stealing a card from a Vegas Casino controlled by the mafia. The risk is that if they catch you, they cut one of your fingers: so the club doesn't have many members. The few "membership" cards are shown to have the casino photographs on their backs. A spectator is proposed to see if he could qualify to join the club without exposing himself to the very real danger. He points at a card in a spread (regular) Bicycle deck and it turns out to be the right card (matching the membership cards). But naturally it doesn't have the casino back so it is proposed to magically change the back of his card for the back of the nefarious casino. This doesn't work but the cards change progressively to match the Bicycle back of the spectator's card. This ultimately contributes to the safety and anonimity of all the members of the club.

There's an impromptu version by Dominique Duvivier in June issue of Genii Magazine that seems great as well!

Wild time revisited up dated version. http://youtu.be/_b9ObuAY_jY
inspired by Shgeio Tekagi and with the help of fello magician Glenn Morphew this effect all the cards can be handed out at the end of the routine but I found it is not necessary vinny |
