Hmm, So would I Devious. Unfortunately I am not allowed into the USA for legal reasons. If I was allowed in then I would be there now, in Las Vegas, playing in the World Serious of Poker, that has just started today I think. A lot of my friends are there right now and one of my brothers. Also I would love to go to the Magic Castle, to see Pop perform in particular. I am not very happy that I can't but I have no one to blame but myself. Maybe that is why I am so grumpy?

tommy, I don't think you're grumpy, but I get the sense that you're angry, and I think there's a difference. And now I know why. Thanks for sharing what I'm sure is a personal something that beats you up. Don't let it beat you up brother. It sounds to me like you're having fun running your own poker gig but that you beat yourself up because you can't do it on your own terms here in the US. It's a "control" issue and you have to let it go. Control the environment that works for you; let the other one ride off into the sunset.

It seems to me that Al's idea of being happy is to be full foolish fancies and hopes. It seems to me Al would rather there be no mention of anything serious at all. He wants everything to be fun and games. Al does not want to hear any bad news or anything like that. Al's idea does not make me angry but I must say, I do find it rather sad and perhaps a bit irrational and a little irritating. There is a time for fighting and a time for singing. There is both doom and gloom and fun and games in this old world of world of ours. I would rather there be no bad news myself but there is and I don't see why we can't talk about the good the bad and the ugly. The very idea of being happy about it all, all of time, is just idiotic to me. If happy all the time is what you want, well then you might as well get stoned 24/7 or something.
