@R.E. Byrnes
"favorite cards of my friends?" I have no idea! I will give you a discription of the effect of 'Cards are my best friends' and tell me! Two spectators named both a card. The magician choose one. The ending is that the magiciancard is in the middel of the both named cards of the spectators. The handeling is very nice, clever and easy. |

I think "Election" by Eric Ross. It's a very good 2 decks effect.

Given the criteria, these effects are among some of my fav's for magic happening directly in their hands.
Double Back - Jon Allen (Probably the best 2 card transposition ever created IMHO) LIT - Dan Hauss Back In Time (Sankey) Stand Up Monte or Skinners 3 card Monte |

Since I have the 2 decks I also combine it with a nice "coincidence" effect (we both choose same card), "Duplicity" with Bannon and Magic Vs Mentalism (Annemann). I really enjoy how "election" works and it seems completely impossible. |

@Edmark Law: Thanks man! A great routine is election. I like it! Specially its a dubble effect in one: same card, each other colors.
In general I want to use a deck of card. Not a packettricks like double back. Packettricks could be give great entertainment, but that's not my search to tricks. |

You should also check out Untouched (by Daryl, I think?). Great effect where the spectator takes the part of the magician and does all the work him/herself.

I created a 4 sequences ACR where all phases happen in the spectator's hand. I never do it but I think about using a phase in my ACR : For the time being, I use Vernon's idea (CF Stars of magic) but I will change for 1 on my own method.

Card across- a small number of card disappear from a group one spectator is holding and appear in another spectator's group. This can play small or quite big, and depending on who's routine you use, the spectators do most the work for you
![]() 3 card monte, 2 card monte, and ACR all have good spectator involvement. Paul Harris' Shrinking card. A selected card visibly shrinks while the spectator is holding it. Spectator cuts to the Aces or four of a kind. (I do this occasionally with four selections instead.) |
