Wow LA showed up tonight. Great teams find a way to score and they did. Series is very interesting.

Well, maybe it is.

This is good. Whoever wins this series will be just that much stronger than if it had been no contest. If Pittsburgh doesn't remember how to play tonight, Boston will glide into the final hardly having to break a sweat. That can be fatal.

Well if the Kings win I will have 2 favorite teams. The Blackhawks and anyone playing the Kings!
I have always wondered the balance between down time and momentum. Winning in 4 is cool but if the others go 7 it can be tough. As John said often fatal. But rest can be important. Interesting. When a couple years ago thr Flyers went 7 with the Penguins it was so emotional and high enerhy they lost the next series. Plus Crosby is just SO irritating!

The 4 remaining teams are all good. I thought going in that both conference finals should be good match ups and hard-fought.
I'm a lifelong Bruins fanatic so I really enjoyed last night's game with the Penguins (except for Gregory Campbell's broken leg). Double OT, lots of exciting moments.....I was nervous! The Bruins had a long rest prior to this series, but so did the Penguins. I think it was good for Boston as some of their players were injured and they were logging lots of ice time. They needed rest and time to heal. The playoffs this year have been weird for the Bruins. It took 7 games and a miracle comeback in the final game to take down Toronto, and then they breezed through the Rangers. I never thought we'd be up 3-0 against the Penguins, but I'm glad we are! Now they have to close them out, which will not be easy.

Well if the Kings show up tonight I may start to worry!
I have to say Quick has been just incredible. Last game he might as well have had that board there with only 3 slots they use for fan promos between periods. He left NO room! If I was to get a Kings jersey it would be his.

My curse is back in shape. Penguins are out. BTW Crosby looks seriously ill. He is thin and gaunt and only a shadow of the player he usually is. But that doesn't explain how the rest of the team forgot how to score.
Come on Hawks!

Curse is off again. Blackhawks winning 2-0. It isn't a matter of sincerity--I really do want Chicago to win and to beat the crap out of Boston. I am a bit sad that my curse isn't as strong as I thought
