I'm italian and my english isn't good enough for understanding some complicated explanations, Videos really helped me learning moves like the one handed palm or the classic pass.

Also in my opinion more important than the way the information was gathered is the way the information is put to use - or put into practice. Building experience performing is another important part that few seem to want to talk about.

Books, video, tricks, moves, are nothing but tools.
How are the tools put to work? To me that is what is important.

I like books the most as I do find most (as in 95%) of the magic dvd's incredibly boring. I am an avid reader aswell and I can read at my own pace. Since there is llepub.com I have now many ebooks on my tablet aswell, so there is also a packs small, reads big to reading!

I like DVDs but I love books.
Also I can't read a DVD in the bath. And books mentally drown out the sound of a soap opera starting in the lounge ..... Shudder. |

What I have found as the only way to watch a DVD is to use it on my laptop and set the the DVR software to use the spacebar to start and stop it. I then use my foot to control the playback. Not practical to put all the stuff in my hands down, hit the control, then get setup again
