My fiance and I are working on some PK magic, and while I can get away with wearing one of those black Wizard style bands, I have yet to see a ring in any version that a lady would conceivably wear. Nor do I want to stick her in long sleeves or something to hide a Bat or a Raven. Two questions then:

1. Is there any PK ring on the market that looks sparkly and pretty like actual jewelry a woman might wear? Where do I get it?

2. Barring that being available, any other ideas?

Thanks for your help in advance

Hi magicyoshi

There are a number of magnetic ring sites on the web and they have a selection of different ring types which may suit. I'm sorry I don't have any specific web site to offer but a search on the Net will give you plenty of, hopefully, suitable rings,

Hope that this helps

Hey Magicyoshi I would recommend painting a pk ring using a metallic adhesive spray paint of a more feminine color

Purple or turquoise nail varnish.
Might make it look a bit more feminine while you're looking for an alternative.

Glue a piece of costume jewellery onto the ring, a flower or a gem of some sort.
Paint the rind itself gold with nail varnish.

If it were possible to track down the original "PK Ring" which was released in the seventies by Arthur Emerson as "The Cling Ring," that would be ideal. It looked like a nice piece of costume jewelry.

The problem with using a PK ring that is thinner and more feminine that the standard ones is that they are notoriously brittle and would likely break much more frequently.

Check SuperMagnetMan rings
Whilst not a perfect answer to your question, these ones at least can get you around the "black Wizard" issue. None of them scream "feminine", but for the prices, you can grab a couple and experiment with them. Actually, I've also found the owner of this site to be a great guy, so he might offer some free advice on how to alter the rings to look a little more sparkly.

I just disturbed myself by thinking that is a good idea.

I use this gimmick under a ring. It is excellent and if you buy it here from the inventor you can have him make the gimmick at a very low cost:

It will fit under any ring and is quite strong.
