One of the largest magic conventions in the United States is the annual international Fellowship of Christian Magicians convention. This year it is July 8-12 at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. See http://www.fcm.org for full details, click on the "United States" link, then click on convention information. This convention features more than a hundred shows, lectures, late shows, late late shows, etc. on Gospel magic, clowning, face painting, ballooning, juggling, vent and story telling. Just a jam packed schedule from early in the morning to late at night. Lots of clown and magic dealers including an auction. Can stay right at the University and eat in the University Caféteria for very reasonable prices (or stay a nearby hotels). Stay for a day or a week. Be sure to say hey to my wife Maggie and me. The complete convention lineup is listed at the http://www.fcm.org website, including the columns and columns and columns of scheduled lectures. An amazing event, hope to see you there! The large evening shows are free and open to the public.
