I've just seen Sankey's 45 and quited in the middle. this is a sad tape.
it's a shame to see whats happend to Sankey in the last years. he releases every piece of junk he merely thinks of. this will be my last buy from him. Nimrod , Israel |

I also think he deteriorates with the years.
that is a shame cause he used to have some really nice material out there... |

Do you remember the happy Sankeytized days ? ...
Nimrod , Israel p.s. I wish everybody were like Tommy Wonder. inventing stuff, doing it for real audience for 10-20 years, and only then publishing it. I bet 95% of the stuff Sankey puts out this days he hasn't performed more then once and maybe less. I miss the old Sankey... |

The only Sankey I have are the "Best of .." DVD series from L&L. I think there are a few good items here, but for comparison would you say this is more of the "good old" Sankey or "bad new" Sankey.

As long as people keep buying his effects he will continue to put them out. I thought 45 was junk but three ring circus was good. Linking rings were worth the price of the dvd.

One of the reasons I buy Sankey's stuff is because I think he's hilarious. He's one of my favorite people to watch perform magic. I think that really helps him out when the magic he teaches is subpar. For instance, I bought his LIVE video and was very disappointed with the magic I learned, but the clips from his lectures were great. I don't think I would have bought the video just to see him perform but it definitely lessons the blow when the video is at least entertaining.
Check out my Main Event project (DVD or Download).

I have 45 and like it. It's not his best DVD but not terrible. It's decent for learning sleights. I'm curious - why do you dislike it?

Same question, Why didn't you like it?
I thought the music was really cool and the sleights taught in it were awsome! 45 is probably one of my favorite Jay Sankey DVDs! |

I'm not much of a Sankey fan, in fact, I'm probably one of the few that dislikes his Best of series, but I love his revolutionary coin magic video, and I like 45. I think 45 is a great compilation of sleights to use in different tricks. Why didn't you like it? Were you expecting 45 stand alone tricks?

this must be the smartest statement I've ever heard. |
