Looks like "Ten" on steroids!

From watching the demo, I would guess the gimmick is the same as with "Ten", but the handling and the psychological thinking and tips, as well as the plot are new. Looks like Richard will definitely ACE it with this one.

It's a preorder, not date of release... Maybe better to post it when the dvd will be ready to ship!

I've always been a big Sanders fan, and this effect illustrates why. Ace looks superb. The handling is fair, the psychology sound. I don't have this, so I can't comment beyond what I see, but what I see I like, and I like a lot.

Pretty much reminds me of N.F.W. ... looks like it uses same cards, just a different handling.

Is there any rough and smooth?

My educated guess on this, knowing how Richard thinks on these things, would be 99 & 9/10 positive that there is no R&S.

It's the same "gimmick" as used on his Super Cards DVD.

The trick ACE is actually "4 Card Crunch" from Richie's Super Cards DVD. The DVD is now discontinued, so he's releasing an individual trick from it.

He did that with "Identity" a few years ago. Identity was called Named from his DVD set The Richard Sanders Show.

I have all the mentioned Sander's DVD's. (Sanders Show & Super Cards.

"Four Card Crunch" is, like you said, "Ace", which is pretty much "Ten."
It's a wonderful effect, and if one doesn't have the DVD's, it's a good purchase. As for myself, I'm not about to pay for the same effect thrice.

Richard has a penchant for re-releasing material. I suppose we'll never know why.

Super Cards and Richard Sanders Show are now out of print. ACE contains a lot more convincing subtleties than Ten or Four Card Crunch. Plus, let's face it, there are new people getting into magic all the time who have never heard of these effects.

I have Super Cards and Ten and will still get this. With live performances and tips/ideas Richard has discovered over the years performing them ( he is actually a WORKER in every sense of the word ) it will be worth it, to me.

I thought the demo was confusing as hell! My cards will change places with your cards, big deal, they're all jokers! Bam now they're aces! WHAT?!

There are 6 routines on the DVD so I'm looking forward to seeing what Richard has come up with.

I have some ideas of my own which if different will be put on a bonus page for our customers at Saturn Magic.
