I was wondering today who was the biggest influence in my hypnosis career. I tried to remember where I first got interested in to hypnosis but my mind was a blank. Then after a while I remember that I was part of an e-mail group where someone brought up hypnosis as a business. After that seed was planted I found Geff Ronnings website and the rest is history.
So who was the biggest influence in your careers? Michael |

Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Then probably Raven (R.I.P.) and yes I mean Raven, not Raveen (who was also amazing. I just didn't see Raveen perform live first, I saw Raven)

Ormond McGill, Reveen, Ted Belante and Don Garnett. (I learned the basics from McGill, was inspired by Reveen, toured with Belante, "Mr Hypnosis," for many years throughout the Pacific Northwest in the 1990's, and learned much about night club work from Garnett, with whom I performed on Holland America Cruises back in the early 1970's.

Ormond McGill, Edwin Barron (I was fortunate enough to study with both of these greats) & Raveen. Also I seemed to have taken something from almost every stage hypnotist I've seen, met or worked with.

For me, it was definitely Robert Halpern, who performed at the Pavillion theatre in Glasgow, Scotland.
Rumours abound as to whether he is alive or dead. At times he was definitely 'A Hole short of a Doughnut' But his act was great ! |
