Hello:

Today Dani Daortiz has said the book he has read most often is one from Robert Houdin (The secrets of conjuring and magic). So I would like to know what is the book of card magic you've read more times.

Greetings.

I like the part where he talks about the history of the effect (and the different versions).

Two books share the same accolade - CUCM & The Magic Book (both by Harry Lorayne).

Well thumbed, bookmarked, pencil noted, etc. over many happy years of study, learning and subsequent deployment for real people.........and for real ££££. Smile

LOL. Mine's not a typical book at all...

The book I read most often is "The Compleat Invocation". In case you're not familiar with it, it's a GIANT book of bizarre magic, and it's absolutely fascinating stuff to read.

Actually I use to browse many a bit whimsically, looking for subjects, methods etc. or just for the pleasure of discovery.
The titles I come back to most often at the moment, however, are Scarne on Card Tricks and The Card Magic of Nick Trost ( the latter being ebook version ; does it count ? ).

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable.
