I know a lot of magicians give away a magic kit to the special child that day. So far I found out http://www.funinc.com/ has inexpensive kits that can be personalized. Does anyone else have a place where the kits are nice but inexpensive as well?
Thanks. |

I have been getting mine at Walmart. They are around $2. I believe and have been serving me well when I do kids shows.

How many tricks come in the Walmart kit as well as the one from http://www.funinc.com/? How are they packaged?

Hello Kyle. The tricks are in a "blister pack" and there are I believe two or three different versions to pick from. You'll find it hanging from the peg in the rubber snakes, balls, and young kids playthings isle. I think the package contains 6 to 10 tricks and comes with a nice book. I found one that came with a magic wand also and that is the ones I usually try to pick up to give away. It is really for kids aged at 6 to 9 I would say and just adds a nice touch for a couple of bucks.

That is great and these were at Walmart and for only 2 bucks? I may have to check that out and see if they have them in our area. I am always looking for things like this. What are they called? Any name or brand? Kyle

Kyle, those magic sets are called The Magic Show I and II. I couldn't find a 3rd set but I was sure one day I had found three different ones. Set one is beautiful with a total of 16 tricks, which include wand and book. Set 2 includes a wand and book also but only had 14 tricks in it. You can't beat them for a cheap give-a-way. Let me know what you think of them when you find them.

Thanks for the information. That is great. I will have to see if my local store carries them. I found a nice bag of 12 tricks as well and it looks really good. I developed a new package design for it. If anyone cares to see the new design and give me feedback on it, just PM me.

Try Toys R Us too. They had some kits for around 2 or 3 dollars too.
