The Books of Wonder, followed by Vortex and Paul Curry's Worlds Beyond.

Card College volume 1.

With its Map of the Hands and Map of the Deck, the ambiguities of description that had previously frustrated me were instantly vanquished.

There are other more advanced books that I greatly admire and value, but this is my emotional favorite because it knocked down the roadblocks for me.

Theater of the Mind, Barrie Richardson. It was the first magic book I bought as an adult, and probably the best. His generous nature was such a wonderful introduction into how to approach something that could otherwise be full of ego-driven self-promotion.

Card College. Most of my fundamental knowledge on close up magic (sleights, theory, effect constructions, everything) were learnt from these 5 books.

Without doubt in order:

1) Books of Wonder
2) The Five Points
3) Mnemonica

Still looking forward the release date of the following:
Sonata
The Magic Way
The Magic Rainbow
Flamenco
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

...Exactly the point I was going to make (though I shelled out for Sonata a while back)!
