However, I will go on about my boy Jesse. Jesse is by far in the top 10 of creators who's mind is just a whirlpool of VERY magical ideas and methods. When me and Jesse would jam over skype, sometimes 3-4 hrs at a time, he would always fool me with at least one thing (mostly more). I love everything this man has come up with. That is all. JM |

I wonder if those who are throwing rocks at penciltration actually own the effect. I happen to own the effect and think it is just brilliant! I am not aware of any penetration effects where the participant sees the performer penetrate the bill or other object as well as penciltration. IMO, it is clearly the most visual penetration out there. Many people complained that a tiny piece wasn't glued to the gimmick. B*F* deal! It was no big deal to add a drop of glue to secure the gimmick. I have several penetration effects, and penciltration is BY FAR, the best!
I don't have this effect, so I won't comment or speculate. I have an idea of how it could be done without any depth perception or too much problem with angles, but in spite of that, I'm planning on purchasing it just to see how he did it and whatever thought he put into the handling. I'm just waiting for something cool that I don't have, in the Penguin Cool Box. If it is anything like penciltration, I think it could be a huge hit! I don't know Jesse, never met him, just my two cents. KJ. |

One more thing, I have a lot of Justin Miller's effects, and most of them are real gems! In fact, some of my favorite effects are from JM. I think the problem is that if someone puts little creativity or practice into their magic, they can take the best effect and turn it into CR@P. Others, on the other hand, can take that CR@P, add a little creativity and practice, and turn it into gold.

As usual, for a magician it's fairly easy to reverse engineer an effect but, if I am right on how this is done its a great idea idea and I am not sure the angles would be that bad.
Think the notebook would always have to be in play but am wondering if there aren't other items before it that might be even more astonishing e.g. liquid. Definitely a concept worth looking into.imho |

Justin Miller has already killed this thread. Whenever I see his name next to anything I just think..., BULLSH....................... and I imagine the effect to be a load of overhyped junk, like it usually is when he jumps on the bandwagon for his friends in magic. The ego on this guy is incredibly boring.
