What is life like in Egypt for the ordinary citizen?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

"According to sources close to the presidency, former UN nuclear watchdog chief and Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei was chosen as Egypt's interim prime minister and will be sworn in later Saturday."
That would be a promising development. Better than the Wall Street Journal's insane call for a reprise of the Chilean torturer General Pinochet: "Egyptians would be lucky if their new ruling generals turn out to be in the mold of Chile's Augusto Pinochet," chirps the WSJ.

Or not.
USA Today just reporting: "Egypt's new president has backed away from an announcement that pro-reform leader Mohamed Elbaradei would be the interim prime minister. A spokesman for interim President Adly Mansour, Ahmed el-Musilamani, told reporters on Saturday that consultations were continuing, denying that the appointment of the Nobel Peace laureate was ever certain. However, reporters gathered at the presidential palace were ushered into a room where they were told by an official to wait for the president who would arrive shortly to announce ElBaradei's appointment. A senior opposition official, Munir Fakhry Abdelnur, tells the Associated Press that the reversal occurred because the ultraconservative Salafi el-Nour party objected to ElBardei's appointment and mediation was underway."

Thus we have another Civil War brewing. This one looks to be even deadlier than the last. Im thinking like Syria.

People wanted the US not to get involved but they did by issueing a statement informing the military to allow peaceful protests. The military didn't realize that Morsi had so many supporters. When they initiated their coup d'etat they believed the were feeding the will of the people, or are they trying to restore the ways of the old regime. The saying usually goes something like when a coup is orchestrated the the successor is usually worse than the predecessor. I don't think this to be the case but rather instead of the successor being worse the country itself is in even more turmoil than before and its looking more and more like this is gonna be way worse than what happened a few years ago. I swear it like they're not fighting for peace but rather against it. You had a good thing going for a second and now look where you're at. And the protesters knowing their lives are at risk if they continue to protest remain steadfast and are ready to die. If their willing to die and the corrupt Egyptian military is willing to kill them then the USA has no choice but to call it a coup and stop that billion dollars of aid from going to them for military purposes because they're in a way fueling the fire. A fire which they stand against because freedom of speech is suppose to be a staple in the constitution. Its the most cited right. And now Qatar's getting involved, donating $7 Billion. This situation is gonna get uglier before its gets cuter. "There Will Never Be Peace In The Middle East" I'm beginning to believe that more and more now. Hell I don't think even a Djinn can fix this mess.
