Hi!
I have come across Krylon's Low Odour Matte Finish spray at a local Wal-Mart. I am wondering if it is suitable for the invisible deck. Has anyone ever used it and what was the end result like? Any replies are appreciated. Thanks! JordenT |

There's a whole thread below covering various "roughing fluid" products. No need to start a new one.

I don't know about the "low odor" Krylon Matte Finish but have successfully used the regular Krylon Matte Finish 1311. Mike

As mtoth2008 said, the Krylon Matte Finish 1311 works, but I don't think the low odor on your Krylon spray will make a difference. It should work.

Were you planning to have them sniff the deck?

Since it was never answered here and I just used this stuff to make an ID instead of the usual 1311 spray - it worked fine.

I use the roughing fluid that Magic Inc. (Chicago) sells; comes in a small plastic bottle and you apply it with a cotton ball. I have no idea what the formulation is but I sure would like to know - works better than anything else I've ever used (Krylon, Dull Kote, hairspray, etc).
