Just posted elsewhere - I just found out this news today. Very sad to hear this because Ian and I have had many intriguing and inspiring conversations regarding rope work and the steel ball & tube. I am an avid user of various sequences of Dancing with Ropes - one of my favourite rope pieces.

He will be sorely missed. Requiescat In Pacem, Ian.

Sad to learn of Ians passing. He was always open to lending a helping hand. His knowledge of rope magic, and magic over all was tremendous. he loved the art, and he loved life. The listing of his writings, effects and creativity are testament to that fact.

His death is a loss to all.
