Interesting that the one venue where we are told DR works still has its issues.

Twitter was "lit up" yesterday with glowing reviews on the show!
Other commitments prevents me from taking the short flight over.

Luke is a passionate performer with a spectacular mentalism beard. I love the guy and hope this show is a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

The final part of the review seemed bluntly honest but a tad disappointing. Is this typically the nature of things or was it some weakness in PS or other work?

It seemed like a strange review to me. Not sure I would be pleased with it.

It's never good when your work is described as "amateurish". I hope to see the show tomorrow so will post my own thoughts which will hopefully be kinder!

Unfortunately this seems to be common with most reviews of mentalism. I guess it's a writers perspective to try to have to pick it apart. At least that seems to be what they believe. When they can't justify things by logic they resort to the pen.

Saw the preview in Edinburgh and thought it an absolute delight. Luke is truly devilish and clever and *** entertaining.

I've read three different reviews. Everyone is saying the runtime isn't long enough - only an hour. They enjoy themselves and want more. I've learned from a few of their criticisms of his act as well, especially regarding the finale. Good to hear Mr. Jermay is back with a public show. I'd love to see it.
