I have just returned from holiday and one of the books I took with me was Intimate Mysteries. Having read the earlier (and glowing) reviews, I was hoping for good things - and it surpassed expectations. The ideas and concepts behind the effects are fascinating and cannot help but intrigue those you perform for, especially as the effects are so personal with many hinging on choice.
There will certainly be several items I will be using from this book and Chris kindly sent me some material prepared for printing out and performing. Again the quality of this is excellent and looks 'the real deal.' As Stephen Young noted, this 'is one of the best books I have read for a long long time.' And I heartily agree. Thanks Chris for what is a major contribution to our art. Neil |

Wonderful book ... Reminds me of the quality of the Robert E Neale story telling, except that here the spectator is completely part of the stories.
So far I have only worked on the "Kokology" part, as it takes me some time to internalize the process (I am doing it in french and want to be fluent with the output analysis of the tests). I performed "Open door" many times already and the reactions are very strong. Am currently tackling "All tied up". Nice thing is that although the first part of the book revolves around the same idea, the different scripts are so different from each other emotionally, and they all have in common the fact that the deck of cards appears to be completely secondary to the effects (but still hits hard at the end). Very nice indeed, ... as is 100th monkey (the french version -)) |

Funny thing. A few weeks ago I was reading about Intimate Mysteries. I checked it out on Chris' site and thought, "Wow, that looks pretty good."
A few days later I was shuffeling thru my magic stuff and found Intimate MIRACLES. Seems to be the same book. It IS pretty good. I like especially, Think, Feel, Do Good stuff. John |

Last night I performed the Archetypal Symbol Generation Test on my wife. She was not only impressed but genuinely fascinated.
This is powerful stuff. Neil |

It's softcover, 1031ent.
This book has been my favourite purchase in a long time. I'm getting great responses to all three core methods in informal, close up environments. Brilliant stuff Chris. |

Hey guys --
This book sold out at Murphy's yesterday, probably because of Penguin's email about All Tied Up ( http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/9819 ) Until Murphy's gets more copies in, you can order from us: http://www.magicaonline.com/intimate_mysteries.htm . Thanks! -Chris |
