Found this project on Kickstarter yesterday and thought I'd highligh it here for those who like custom printed playing cards. This looks like a great deck; I absolutely love Lee's design work. If you want to back it, you still have time (1 day left):

I'm really suprised there isn't more of a buzz surrounding this deck. For those of you who don't know, the designer (Lee McKenzie) was also responsible for some of the best decks released by Ellusionist, namely the Arcane, Artifice, Infinity, and Fathom Decks. If you liked these decks you should definitely take a look at the Empire Deck.
Lee also has plans to produce a "warrior" card guard. It looks awesome, but is unlikely to be produced as part of this particular Kickstarter project. Hopefully it will see the light of day at some point, it is too cool to not become a reality! I'm a sucker for good design and I think Lee deserves all the support we can give him with this project. 24 hours to go if you're interested! |

I'm sure they will be a hit, particularly with poker playing tattoo artists.

Shoot, I don't play Poker and I haven't got a tatoo. Guess I'll have to retract my support for this deck .

Amongst others, Marty. I'm sure they will be a hit with other people too.
