I've searched the Café and found there's no thread yet of this little beauty.
I've received this a few days ago and I must say I'm stunned. it's killer. I have a few peek devices but this one takes the cake, no electronics, super easy and the peek happens very natural and very quick. The peek is CRYSTAL clear. you can use sharpie markers with big tips if you want so you make it more visible towards the audience. This thing is a worker. my favorite thing to do with this is a drawing duplication. what they see, they get a clipboard with a piece of paper on it. they draw something on the paper and hold it close to their chest, whilst you turn your head away you put the clipboard in an envelope, showing the spec one more time and asking him/her to remember the details. you give the envelope to the spec to take to his/her seat. somewhere in your show you now start drawing something. you invite the enveloped spec back on stage take out the clipboard. sure enough your drawing is a spot on duplicate of the specs. this thing is a worker. it has become my favorite peek device, it's not technically difficult but you do need some practice(as with every effect). one thing though it is better suited for stage than close up but it can certainly be managable close up. oh did I mention no refills, or batteries or anything that wears out? this is just as good as the trailer and product statements make it out to be. 10 out of 10 |

If you searched Christopher Rawlings,, as you mentioned above, you would have come up empty since you didn't spell it correctly. Although you did spell it correctly in the title of this thread. Using Google to search the searchable forums is the best way to search on the Café, at least for me.
