Hi,
I'm new here, and to the field of mentalism, so please treat me gently, lol. I'm sure this has been done a million times......but would be grateful for your thoughts My idea is an impromptu book test on a packed train. The caveat is finding a subject reading a top 10 bestseller which we know about in advance, and knowing an extract from said book Let's say, for this example 'Fifty Shades of Grey'... In this case, the patter can be around 'finding the perfect partner who is in totally tune with your desires'. I choose Person A (who is reading the book), and pair them up with Person B (who is an innocent bystander). I mention some kind of 'true love test', based on their 'obvious chemistry'. There follows some variation of the H** B**d B**k ***t to divine the pre-determined word or phrase. I might choose a phrase such as 'he has blue eyes', or 'I really fancy him', or it could simply be a word like 'hot'. . . .basically anything to make them think this stranger has brought them together! The point being, I leave the train after forc*ng the phrase, and they both have a shared experience which may spark a romantic liaison. If they end up together, they'll remember the 'stranger on a train' forever, otherwise it'll still feel like a cool standalone experience. Like I said, I'm new, so this stuff will sound old to you, so I appreciate your patience/generosity..!! Best wishes, Steve |

It is a very nice idea. Though if I were ever to do it I would only use a couple that I truly felt could potentially be together so as not to set them up to fail.

Steve Valentines booked would solve your caveat and allow you to f***e whatever word phrase you want in pretty much any book the spectator has to hand.

You might be responsible for two people, finding true love? Or you could be bringing the next victim, to a Jack the ripper type? Is it worth it?
No matter how many times you say the wrong thing, it will NEVER be right.
If I'm not responding to you? It's because you're a TROLL! |
