I have Richards Almanac and I absolutely adore it, I'm just wondering if the other magazine compilations are as good as this, Epilogue, Apocalypse, Pallbearers review and Fulves' Chronicles are the ones that I'm currently interested in.
I'm mad about cards and sleights so how would you all rate these tomes? Cheers Paul |

The Pallbearer's Review and Epilogue both contain a VAST wealth of great material, and are some of my favorite books. I like Richard Kaufmann's writings style better, and Richard's Almanac is my absolute FAVORITE book..If you liked the vast content in Almanac, you'll love Epilogue as well...Highly recommended

Although I don't have Richard's Almanac I have seen it (my friend Matt has it) and I agree it seems like the type of book that will bring you many years of fullfilment. Matt, I'm still jealous!
I DO have Epilogue, and it has recently proved to be more and more valuable to me. If you love cards and are looking for interesting and challenging material that was once kept very secret, then you'll love it. You'll get to see the original versions (and often the best) of material that has inspired card magicians since the 60's. This is the real deal. This is the type of material that more magicians should be studying instead of the latest DVD. Master the routines and sleights in this book and you can rub elbows with anyone!

Is Richard's Almanac OOP or is it still available?
Magic is a vanishing Art.
This must not be Kansas anymore, Toto. Eschew obfuscation. |

I think you can also order it directly from Richard via the Genii Magazine site. (At least, I HOPE you can because I just ordered one...)

Let's not forget a great source of Ed Marlo's material in another journal, IBIDEM, now a 3 volume set. |

Just to follow up:
You CAN order The Complete Almanac directly from Kaufman. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday. |
