Yes, I've been there a few months ago and it's an amazing experience! I want to go again. It's beautifully done and a bizarrist's wet dream came to life.
You'll spend hours there. I think we were in there for close to 3hrs and you get to keep the mask You are allowed to handle the props because there are clues throughout each room that helps describe the story and all the props are designed really well. One floor is designed as a mental asylum with bath tubs and beds, etc. Another room is designed to be an apothecary with herbs hung to dry on the ceiling. This was one of my favourite rooms. Sincerely, if you ever go to NYC, you MUST go to this. Cheers, Allan |

Sort of cryptic. What exactly is it?

I am actually heading to NY this week, I should have built this into the schedule! Perhaps next time. It looks very interesting!

Highly recommend it! Eddie tipped me off about it last year and we really enjoyed it. Have a couple of drinks before you go and there is a great Cuban place down the street.

That looks like a great evening of unconventional theater.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Sleep No More is a very good example of immersive theater. It is a form where the narrative is broken apart and the spectators literally walk through the story. Each audience member has a different experience. There are several other immersive shows in NYC. It is an interesting performance form and could be something great for bizarre magic.
As for what I have been doing with Sleep No More, imagine a restaurant that has the witches of Macbeth as not so silent partners. |

I'm considering a trip back JUST to go again. It is incredible. It isn't really described well because it isn impossible to describe well. It must be experienced.

We started working on it but the parent company Punch Drunk started a new production in the UK and pulled all the US production team off of the restaurant development and put them on the new show. I don't know when we will return to this project.

Amazing Production with sets to die for.
And now the rest of the story. Wear a good pair of running shoes, and be prepared to chase after actors as they run across the building, and up and down a couple of flights of stairs. You especially need to be fast if you're not very tall, because you need to stay ahead of the pack if you want to view the scenes over anyone in front of you who is taller. If you're in good enough physical condition, you'll dig it the most. If you get easily winded, or have any walking disability, I suggest that you pass. Read the reviews on Yelp, for a broader view. Enjoy the show. SB
