I just placed my order. I'm looking forward to it. I love David's items.
I'm looking forward to the improvements. I also have the original. |

David is a great guy, this product is much better, I have the original. This version is so good, I don't mind that I bought both. I received no discount. This is a worker, if you are serious about making money with magic, this fits the bill. If you are a hobbiest, and you have the original, I would think you could just save your money, as you most likely aren't going to use.
at his is a great product, David is a great guy. If you want a serious trick, that works and has an instant reset, buy it. Could be sold for $85-100.

Just wanted to say that I purchased this 2 weeks ago....Wow is all I have to say! It's a great gimmick. The DeCova gimmick with the Bizzaro handling is perfect in so many ways. Thank you David for making a great effect...I love the card to wallet plot...you have just perfected it!

Well, I wouldn't call this a gimmicked wallet exactly, as there is no wallet! What this is, is a black leather passport case with a passport inside. There are also a few gimmicks that work together to create a very easy, no-palm card to impossible location:
1) A leather passport case - this is gimmicked internally. 2) A passport (a fake one is included but you can use your own) - this is gimmicked internally. 3) The (altered) De Cova gimmick - this is a clever gimmick that, due to the other objects used, can be added to an ordinary deck in use under spectators' noses. It has been changed from the original De Cova gimmick to allow for a mind-reading phase to the routine. I should add that the deck is clean again at the end of the trick, and you are re-set as you put the props away. So, there are basically three gimmicks employed, and no real wallet to speak of, and these gimmicks work together with a lovely economy and harmony. The only un-gimmicked items are the two rubber bands that encircle the passport case! I have not been advertising this yet, nor have I been distributing it. I'm thinking about keeping it for my website and occasional lectures. I'll just say that it really is a pleasurable/practical method and the leather case is very well made. |

On a scale of one to "have a nice flight," how much blowback is the included passport going to get me at LAX? Do I need to insert a fiver in there when I hand it over to the TSA?

Andrew, I have been told by a well known magician who carried this that he was hassled at customs because of one of the features. He actually had modified his actual passport and used the supplied leather cover. It was the modification of his passport that was the problem. However, you could modify, use it and then unmodify the passport before you go through customs.

I was actually asking if I could use this as my real passport, rather than renewing my current one. Is it a suitable fake? Will I be arrested if I try to pass it off as the real thing? Is Regal offering bail money if this occurs? Overworked minds want to know.

Andrew,
You should definitely try using this as your real passport. Let us know how that works out. |

The deck handling required confidence and breeziness, but everything else about the trick was smooth sailing and a great deal of fun.
The fake passport will not get you into trouble at the airport unless you're also attempting to purchase your ticket with monopoly money. |
