I just purchased these cups made by Fernando Rodriguez Enrique in Spain. They are a medium size cup that hold a lacrosse ball. Mine are made of brass but he also makes them in stainless steel. They feel really nice and are quite heavy, about 7 ounces. Look great too. He also makes the cool leather balls you see below. Check out his website.

Very nice! Wonder how the interior of the metal chop cup looks?

These look like a rather blatant copy of an RnT II Foxy 2.5 or, perhaps a Porper cup. Both of the latter have much more pronounced dips in the saddle, though.

Bill, I compare my rnt 2.5 with these cups (from the photo) and my RNT 2.5 have a more square shape (diameter/height) those cups looks more rectangle shape height longer than diameter, but could be the photo.

I agree they are very similar, the price falls on the expensive side...

It is sometimes difficult to judge actual height vs. diameter from a photo. If you take a look at the van Dokkum design, you would swear that it is taller than its diameter, but it is actually the same dimension both directions. I'm referring to Auke's curved cup design, not his "traditional" cups.

Of course, the Harry Stanley cup is similar to these as well.

The saddle is concave. A ball will not fall off. The mouth is about 2 9/16" and it is about 2 15/16" high. The outside bottom width is 3 inches so it is actually wider than it is tall.

Here's a comparison shot of an aluminum Foxy 2.5 and one of Fernando's cups. The 2.5 is the same width but slightly shorter. The dip in the saddle is about the same. The edge of the saddle on the 2.5 is rounder, and the bottom bead on Fernando's cups is much larger.
