I think this looks amazing. Does the dvd cover anything other than card going to box. I've got a few odeas but just curious.

The only thing that has annoyed me about this is I bought it from David's site as I do like supporting the creator, and as I live in the UK, I had to pay $103.95 for it to be internationally shipped, only to see it on Hocus Pocus for $80 shipped world wide. I am a big fan of David's work, but seeing as Hocus Pocus would have bought them at wholesale price thus meaning no matter what they make less per sale than David, they can still offer the free shipping worldwide

Christopher, I was as surprised as you when Hocus-Pocus offered free shipping. If they ship the same way I ship, USPS Flat Rate International, it costs them about $23 to send the package. I do not use postage as some sort of profit center - I go online, look at the rates, and those are the shipping costs.
Needless to say, Hocus-Pocus' actions hurt my sales, so their decision to compete on that level doesn't thrill me! They are, I'm sure you know, selling as a pre-order - they do not have the item in stock but will have it at the end of the month. The Clarity Box is much less expensive than some other card boxes on the market, so I think the retail price is reasonable, but of course I understand your frustration. I would feel exactly the same way. |

David showed this at MAGIC Live, and it's a beaut. Looks cool, is well-made, and the illusion is spot-on.

I miss-typed. Sending a Flat Rate Priority International package costs me $44.95 (not the $23 I mentioned above). I can only imagine that big shops have better shipping rates than I do. It is a deep mystery, because no, they can't ship Flat Rate Priority International for free make a profit.

What I love about the box - besides its gorgeous and classy construction - is the flexibility it offers too for customization.
As I was driving this morning I kept thinking of the wonderful possibilities this offers for a mentalist combing with a CT or imp device. The size if the box would easily fit in a jacket pocket. David also goes into some nice detail on the DVD in terms of doing a me***y fol* and also an alternative which may be easier for some. The whole package looks great - the box this comes in, the added goodies for some customization, everything.

Another ringing endorsement for the Clarity Box, for all the reasons mentioned above: looks, quality, elegance, ease of use, versatility, excellent instruction.
The box is a pleasure to handle, and its workings will even fool YOU in the mirror. (Let's admit it; this is always fun.) It might be useful to discuss its uses for mentalism. Perhaps downstairs in Inner Thoughts? (I'll post there and see what happens.) Anyhow, a wonderful prop! |

This is exceptionally good. Super fast delivery to the UK and super professional and well produced item.
Superb for Mentalism! So many possibilities .... I love it when a product lives up to the expectation. Cheers Todd |

At any rate I am getting the feeling that most customers want their Clarity Box shipping cheaper but slower - I will probably switch to that on my site soon and let those who want to spend more for faster shipping shoot me an email. I really do appreciate your kind words, help and understanding. If I got at all bi*chy when people guessed methods and whatnot it's because I get emotional when I'm sleep-deprived. Got my Clarity Box yesterday and was really amazed. Maybe I'm a little slow but I really had no idea how it worked before getting it but thought I had it figured out only to discover how wrong I was when it arrived. Even after opening it, I still couldn't see how it was going to work! I was happily surprised to see how simple, yet very fooling it will be. I can't wait to work with it. (Of course while on David's site, I saw the advertisement for David's Passport renewed and had to order that too!)
I think they arrived together just 2 days after I ordered them. Thanks David! |

David performed this for me last year, two feet away, across a table at a restaurant. It looks as close to real magic as anything I've ever seen. A seemingly kmpossible mind blower.

I don't get excited by much magic, but this is really, really great. Love the visual picture of it at the start, and the fact it is unbeatably clean at the end. This is top, top stuff.

One nagging question... do spectators need to be head on? Can they be sitting/standing on the side or behind the box?
