Can't believe no one has asked this yet so I guess I'll be that guy. What were the hot new releases at MAGIC Live? Haven't really seen much discussion on the convention.

Ha Ha! Yeah, I've been thinking about it every day but didn't want to ask! I'd be curious to know what might have been released there as well.

MagicLive was great, I got a trick from Fairchild I'm happy about, I think it was called "the ups and downs" box. Other then that some small effects also. By far the best show was a juggler not sure of name or what country he was from but he was amazing! He would throw five hats not at same time into air away from his body and they would come back like a boomerang. He did this thought the crowd in auditorium. Amazing!

I just got back from Magic Live.
Rostami Magic was at the Magic Backdrops booth where I was constantly demoing teleFoto, Supa Thump and iPredict Pro. A BIG thank you to all the friends from the Magic Café that came by and said hello and showed there support for my products. I had a GREAT time. I have to agree with the previous posts, the last evening show was OUTSTANDING!! I offered $10 off all my recent products that I would like to extend to everyone until the end of next week (ends 8/25/2013) Magic Live prices: teleFoto - $39.99 Supa Thump - $39.99 iPredict Pro - $89.99 So if you didn't get a chance to go to Magic Live, you can still take advantage of the show prices. cheers, Greg Rostami |

I was paying attention to this.
Greg Wilson had a ring stretch, that I wanted; but he vanishes a lot so I didn't snag one. Of course, Mr. Regal had his cool clear box. (It is pretty slick.) In the Murphy's VIP deal I met Gaetan and he had some special dvds HOPC Summer NOC decks were being slipped in the mix on the down low Inferno by Josh Jay made its rounds. Massado Rings by E was drawing crowds. Jamie Grant was killing the crowd with his "Send Wonder" Campaign. Chris "Magic" Smith had a couple new ones. A new version of the floating light, and an any glass production. Eric Jones was playing with a "Futura Cube"? Not quite sure what it was called, but he loved it. ProMystic I think. And my "A Billet to the Brain" sold out when it hit the floor, it is new (Thanks for the mention Rob ) Those are the "Debuting at MAGIC Live" products that I noticed LokI |

I bought josh messados rings (cause the only set of rings I had were from my first magic set and they were plastic and crappy) from E (josh came up to me while I was in line for breakfast one of the days and shook my hand and said that my reaction was the best he had ever seen your welcome josh!) , and Magick from fantasma and I had hung out quite a bit, floored me with his CIA dvd had to buy that from him as well as deluxe nest of wallets (had that on my xmas list last year and didn't get it) also bought Inferno from joshua jay...awesome!! all in all for being my first con I don't think this could ever be beaten, thanks again to Jason England for that "private" lecture-you are amazing with cards sir...while some hate on the orleans for being a dumpy casino...the presidential suites were f*$%in unreal thanks again Eric!!!!!!! To sum things up....Magic Live 2013--mind blown...mind f@#&in blown!! |

Saw Wilson do the stretching ring illusion during his Penguin lecture. That was a super cool visual. Glad he is releasing it.

Any info on Joshua Jay's Inferno? Joshua Jay's material is solid and I am always inspired by his thinking. I hope to know more about his latest effect.
