Personally, I think that language is corrupting modern technology.

What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Not speaking for the rest, the funny part was that The Bank of Montreal is being called bee-mo, that's all. It just sounds funny. George Carlin would might have written a whole routine about it.

Thanks! I noticed one of our most revered members here used it incorrectly recently, but I didn't correct him on it despite my urge to do so. He probably knows who he is.

I really don't know how to respond to the last few things mentioned about my post it just sound like people are intentionally being hurtful so I'm just going to have to remove myself from the picture for a little while. See you guys around.

I have two friends, one in his fifties and the other in his sixties. Neither one knows how to use capital letters! Neither one knows how to use correct grammar. I won't even mention spelling! What with SpellCheck so readily available...I just don't understand it.
I have to edit their emails into paragraphs, and punctuate run-on sentences. I really got tired of it and mentioned it to one. Boy did I get FLAMED! Now, I see articles on the 'net so badly written, I wonder...does anyone really care any more? Education today is a joke. Doug |
