Performed it last night ripping off various parts of Annemann's performance (I think) because I started it with a key tied around my neck with a piece of ribbon. The other six keys were passed out, tried, and each put in to its own indvidual envelope. The ribbon tied key was shown to work, put in to another envelope (after removing the ribbon) and then all were placed in to a metal bowl and thoroughly mixed up by a spectator.

Then, I had a spectator choose the "correct" key from the bowl. I used my mentalist powers to tell her it felt like a good choice (after asking her if she wanted to change her mind first and choose another envelope) and the effect was terrific.

Many thanks to Cannon's Great Escapes where I purchased the effect. And Ted too, of course.

It's a testament to the "classic" stature of this trick that so many variations have emerged. Unfortunately, in some cases, they've improved things beyond plausability. Good to see you've had some success with this one.
