Would like to hear everyone favorite handling of this great trick. Mine is Lars handling followed by the Abbreviation version. I like Lars because I like the idea of putting (their) card at the number in the open and I like the Abbreviation with a charlier thrown in because it seems impossible only having to deal the cards once in the effect.
If anyone doesn't have this trick, get it. Very rare you can take one trick and have so many different and strong ways to perform it. |

I'm very fond of Lar's version. It´s the one I'll use as I just love the way he has streamlined the handling (the patter's great as well, just needs to be adapted to your personnality).
Crusade is a true instant classic. It ticks all the boxes and then some ! J. |

Glad to see these testimonials. I have been flirting with getting this effect.

Flirt no more! The manuscript of the crusade, with Lars and Michael's additions, is like a short masterclass in presenting a card effect in a mentalism context.
As long as you don't approach this looking for the holy grail " Berglas Effect", you will not be disappointed. |

I wonder, is Crusade still the best trick of 2013 ? Not much excitement over here !

Is there anywhere I can watch a performance of the effect?
