Sorry I wasn't clear on my post....
Yes, I bought this when it first came out. I watched the DVD several times, and YES, it is me being slow. I actually have memory issues, etc. Injury from a while ago... I'm not looking for a refund at all. This is me being a slow learner, not their fault. yes, I wish it was shot from above the shoulder... Anyways, Because it is shot from straight on, and Josh goes over it very fast. I am confused and just get frustrated trying to learn it from the DVD. I know others have also commented that it is not the easiest to learn due to this, so it is not completely my fault. And I know for a lot of people this is super easy and not an issue. I don't perform magic full time. And I can totally provide proof that I have this. I know you guys don't know me and I completely understand that. Thank you and again, I am sorry for my confusion... My cards didn't last very long before they ripped. Now I have to pay 50% of the original cost for a refill. Is there cheaper brands I could buy here? Try using rubber glue (no rubber cement, little more thicker) and use it on the creases. Before the cards start to rip apart apply thin line of glue to the creases. I use this rubber glue for full split cards and it gives much more elastic feel to the cards than rubber cement. Its perfect for folded cards when I need last long. |

For those using this regularly, I get the feeling most did so using the 4 options vs 2 ending. I originally felt the same, but with my hands, I still think the 2 out way is better. I'm asking your opinions and workings because I recently dug this out and want to use it again. I got burned way back a few times and needed more practice and confidence, but it turned me off from trying which is a shame because it's so powerful.
Thoughts? Improved handlings since you've been using it? I also lost my 2 but still have the 4, and was thinking of a refill since that was the one I felt more comfortable with. I also realize there may be a way to use the 4 but having only 2 of those normal 4 with extra wording. Anyone have a method as such? Then it's the best of both worlds. As a side note, I'm having a blast with Instagrab and that made me think of this effect, and naturally I want to bring it back into my sets. |

I know this is an old thread but has anyone found paper clips that work with Inferno? Mine were immediately ripped on the first try. Vanishing Inc. did send me a new set of cards when I showed them, but they didn’t not have a solution for how to prevent it in the future and they will definitely rip again. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Use a standard Large paperclip from any office supply store like Staples. They will not rip the card. I thought it was a curious decision why they furnished the other style in the first-place.

A Tip on the Paperclip, I bend mine on both sides a small amount so that the card can easily come out.
I also add tape on the end parts in the same color so the card will not scratched in any way. The effect is great, a real worker and I like the sleight version a bit more, the ending is so clean and you can let examine everything. I also perform it over zoom but it's so much stronger in hands of the spectator. |

Does anyone perform this with some sort of multiple out wallet, envelope and double index cards?

Yes 4 outs using the mixed in.x 2 cards with the 2 compartments. To be honest, if you are going to perform the non slight of hand version (like this) it’s more theatrical imo to have the cards in the match box as it’s easy to simply take away one card with the paper clip

The equivoque is the dog of this presentation, I can do it so much better. The guys on the shadow wallet do a great equivoque and it’s so easy to get it down to 4 outs with no changing of tact halfway through
Gaz 😊 |

10 years ago I started learning this wonderful routine based on the DVD. Like others mentioned above I also had little folding issues and now would like to learn the "lipless" handling. Justin Miller and Cardshark talked about it in this thread. I also saw a smooth performance by Craig Petty - perhaps also the "new" handling. Is there any source to learn it? Thank you for your help.

I use the handling he teaches in his At the Table lecture. That might be what you're looking for.
