Noticed that discrepancy right away, but I really don't think it's necessary to cause that discrepancy.
Some think Houdini used trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage.

I thought this would be a good kicker ending for a signed card to envelope in wallet. While taking out the signed card the first time do the necessary, then take the first envelope and pocket or lose it casually while they are looking at their signed card. Offer to do it again placing the card back in the deck, then the visual change in front of their eyes , taking the card out again. Just thinking the obvious out loud. I think this could be a very nice tool to extend a few routines.

We now have this listed for UK customers, it shows as pre-order but the stock is on it's way to us and should be here this week depending on the speed of the post.

Hi Mark,

I guess other European customers can also buy it but with shipping costs, right? Smile
If so you will have my pre order within in the next days...

BTW: will you also get "Monarch" (ok, it's no PH presents effect but it looks pretty good though)

Cheers
Nikki

Hi

Yes shipping outside of the UK is expensive so we have to charge, but I have just this minute raised the delivery threshold so all orders below £27 obtain the lower shipping cost.

I was surprised that the discrepancy made it into the trailer, but possibly they didn't shoot enough different takes to get it right, or just made a mistake when putting together the trailer. It would really be silly if you couldn't go back into the same place.

Does it use the PH VD idea, yes, but in an entirely new way. This is THE BEST idea I have seen with the PH VD gimmick. It is super easy to perform, PERFECT (hear me now) PERFECT for walk-around and restaurant work. And it is sooo much fun to perform, and yes you WILL get CRYING reactions to this, it is the closest to REAL magic one could hope for!

This does look very good and while I like some of the things JM has come up with, his endorsements are utterly worthless to me now based on previous rubbish he's crowed about. So, I am really looking forward to a real review on this. Smile

This time Justin is 100% correct, I rate this better than Ace by Richard Sanders, the visual vanish of the deck is just fantastic.

Words can't express how good I know this is.

Hmm. I was going to purchase Kohler's Black envelope but this may blow it straight out of the water. No hard moves and everything completely examinable before and after? Sounds like a winner. Looking forward to some more reviews.

Hi all

Just wanted to be clear about the examined envelope option mentioned in the ad copy. This happens via a very simple no moves pocket switch for a normal envelope. Have to say though that Chris, Brandon and all the PHP testers have performed Envylope for months..and no one ever asked to inspect the envelope.

Here's how the performance plays out. First the normal envelope can be examined at the beginning of the effect..which goes into the pocket. So it's already been established as a normal envelope. You have the shock of the change from the deck to the envelope...then all focus goes to the card or other object that you pull out of the envelope....and then you pull the missing normal deck out of a pocket...which is another strong moment..and draws all attention to the deck. During this the envelope is casually put back into a pocket..where it's safe and out of the picture.. But if you really want to have it examined...you simply pull the original normal envelope out of your pocket and hand it out..we also include a "live" pocket switch...that happens as the deck is produced.

Appreciate every one's interest in Envylope. We're all very excited about this one!

all good things,

Janet

While that might be a simple way around it it by no means is as deceptive. And hte video leaves out the entire effect as it would look in real time. Seems many let a PH product not undergo the same scurtiny as other effects with video edits. I would have to see how clean it looks from deck we see spread to the change. Leaving it out means it might not be as free and easy to get in the ready. I am not saying it does , just would have liked to see it performed as the audience sees it.

Hi Power Magic. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment..but the magical change of the deck to the envelope happens exactly as you see it on the demo..there's no cover and no switching. This happens in full view..just like on the demo. My previous post was talking about the option of having the envelope examined at the very end..after the effect is over. This in fact may be what you're talking about..just wanted to be sure there was no confusion..and again..in 16 months of performances no one has ever asked to examine the envelope..as it was assumed to be the same one they examined at the beginning

take care

Janet
