I think we need to get rid of compact cars and go back to the good ol' 400+ CI engines that were a ton of fun, well, maybe 2 tons lol

I'd love to have a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Stomp on the gas and let that 454 cubic inch, big-block V8 engine ROAR. Goes O to 60 in NO TIME...HOLD ON!!!

We are supposed to disagree.
Soooooo. We should all be walking, or riding a horse. Cars are a curse on humanity. So when they start to use cars no car should be able to go from 0 to 30 in less than 25 seconds and their top speed should be 35. OMG....boring

I had a 1966 Galaxy. Loved it.
Right now my 2010 mustang is a V8. Not 400 but a nice engine.

You are dead wrong! We need to go back to the classic cars of the 1930's. We need Packards, Dusenbergs, Auburns, Cadillacs, Pierce Arrows, Hispano-Suizas, Rolls Royces and the like. Now those were automobiles!

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

I disagree with all of it. Stay at home! Go no farther than your two little chicken-legs will carry you. Get off that poor horse's back. Tote that barge, lift that bale...

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth was an early proponent of smaller and more fuel efficient cars. According to things I've read, he believed them to be the "wave of the future," and he was pretty much right.

He had gone to a bar and felt he had one too many and decided to do the responsible thing and leave his car at the tavern and walk across the street to a motel where he would rent a room and sleep it off. He staggered a bit while crossing the road and a cop saw him and cited him. I won't tell you how the case was decided yet, because I'd like to hear some guesses as to how the case turned out. |

I'm curious how the case went, but I can't venture a guess as it can be ridiculously unpredictable at times.
Keeping you safe . . . from keeping yourself safe. Now, what are "road apples?"

Now, what are "road apples?" Let's see, how can I put this? An apple goes into a horse on the front end, and a road apple comes out the back end!! Mark. |

My first car was a used Pontiac Catalina with a 400 engine. That boat could fly among other things.
