Really? Forced. That's a first world problem right there. If you buy it, you're going to be "forced" to watch a really long video. Maybe just skip it.

I purchased the download as and this is indeed quite good. Of course, you'll need some form of a table so this effect will be reserved only for such occasions. Make sure you watch all of Gaetan's explanation because the real gem comes near the end. He explains how to move the card from being in a standstill horizontal position to vertical and then you can invite a nearby spectator to grab the card while it's still balanced.

I generally skip effects when I don't know what they are. And I still don't know what this is since neither the seller nor the posters here give the basics of it. Many posters obviously know a lot about it so they have no need to discuss it, but it is new to me and I'm sure it is new to a lot of people. It's obvious that many here appreciate the benefits that the written word offers and I do find it strange that an advertising campaign has not seen fit to use clear and descriptive text in addition to its video work.

The name of the effect says everything you need to know. If you can't be bothered to watch a one minute video to see what you're getting then that's on you. I can't think of a more descriptive way of describing the effect than the title. And in the time you read this, you could have watched the video 😃

The late Ken Brooke taught me this back in 1979. He gave credit to Gaetan. It's as good as it looks, and I still enjoy performing it all these years later.

I fail to understand why anyone would want a written description when a video clip is available. This effect is not one that just looks good on camera...it is angle proof and really is one of my favourite gems of magic. Don't hesitate to buy it.

Quick question. Is the download an edited piece taken directly from the Gaeton Bloom Live lecture, or is this a separate filming and explanation of the effect?

Possibly as it's said to contain "Free-standing display mysteries".

I bought it, I love it, made my mate laugh out loud, everything you need in the pack (bar a pack of cards and a close up mat) and PLENTY to spare.

This has been re-marketed and is quite entertaining. How are the angles on this?

I am troubled by the prominent position of the card box. I assume this must be there to provide an a _ ch_ r for the _ _ _ e _ _?

Why troubled?
there are many ways you could set this up if you think about it for about 10 seconds..

I think the card box location issue is "magician overthinking". To the spectator, I think it would fly by, particularly since cards are in multiple locations (with spectator(s) and magician). Can even make it look more "messy" by involving more than one spectator.

Ironic that you need to be sitting down for the card to stand up.

Gaetan does this walking around with a drink in his hand that serves as a cardbox. 😉
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

Hey Lovers of this routine Smile

I really love it too and performed it a few times.
But I have "problems" with transportation of the T....d. I bought Vectra Virtuoso for this, cause I thought, its the most invisible one. it is, nobody sees.
But I don't have a good way so far to pack it into my pocket without any danger of breaking etc..

Im curious; what ways do you use for the transport etc.?
im a bit new to T....d, so maybe a miss a thing.

Thank you much!

No, its probably not you. It is just a pain in the rear to work with period! I have a love/hate relationship with IT.
