Yes, you did.
If actual innocence were proven (for example, DNA evidence proves that someone else committed the crime), ideally, the charges would be dismissed and the case would never get to a jury in the first place. Or, if it is produced after the trial and an appeal is permitted, a convicted individual would, thus, be exonerated and released. Look at it this way- OJ Simpson, thanks to a very flawed prosecution, was found "not guilty" because the murder charges against him were not proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Has anyone here ever argued that the verdict meant he was innocent? |

If someone else confesses to and is proven to be guilty of a crime that you were doing time for what does that technically make you? Does that make you not guilty, unguilty, innocent, or what?

I think that the majority of the jury felt that he was justified in what happened, (and hence, innocent of the charges). Not many of them have spoken, (probably out of fear for their own lives), so we don't know for sure, but this is what I suspect. |

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

No matter what happens to George Zimmerman it won't be of my doing. I wish both you and him the best, but I would be willing to bet that you have a better chance at finding happiness than George does.

Her lack of faith in the system of law and its outcome and disrespect for the system because she lost and cannot handle it as a professional. If he was as so obviously guilty it shows her incompetence that she could not get a conviction. She obviously has an agenda and that agenda is, look at me I am Angela Corey and I am a bad *** prosecutor. Well honey it seems you are not. If George was so obviously guilty then you blew it. If he was not than you over charged him in order to show how tough you are again her agenda. Looking back through some articles on her it seems she is a media hound. Seems to me as she does not belong in the position she holds, and not just because of the Zimmerman case. Check out the above link posted by balduci and form your own conclusion about her.

I guess it's a lucky thing then that the prosecutors in the Zimmerman case weren't 'great'.
