Hello all. I have a very fine set of Multuum Parvo glasses which I believe are made with cut-glass looking plastic and plexiglass type inserts. Also Okito glasses, mirror glasses etc which are probably styrene? Is there a recommendation out there as to what type of "fake milk" to use to avoid dis-coloring these plastics? Thanks in advance. I used to use Pine Sol. Makes pretty good looking milk and cleans your plastic glass when rinsed out.

If you would have done a search on the Café, you would have found "Milk Tex" is the best brand to use. The one referenced by BanzaiMagic above.
Here is another place to purchase: http://klamm-magic.com/cgi-bin/web_store......match=on Mixed a batch 4 years ago, and it is still very good, and not separated. Don't use anything else or you will damage your props. |

Oom-as said, It's a machine shop oil-needs clean up.
Acrylic and or water color white paint, needs a good shake up every time. Easier clean up. Pine sol with a nice smell to. Easy clean up. Personally,I've been using machine shop oil based petroleum. |
