I just purchased a miscellaneous bag of coin gaffs. Lots of good coin gaffs but it also included other objects I'm not familiar with.
One of them is a set of 6 cubes about 5/8" square and 3 ball bearings. 3 of the cubes have holes in them to hold the balls.
I attached a photo.
Does anyone know the name of the effect that uses these props?
I bought them off EBay . I can try to contact the seller if no one can help me here.

Thanks,
Ihor

The photo attachment didn't work.
It may be an image size issue.

Another try with the photo.
Still can't get it.
Even after resizing.
Perhaps it's an Ipad issue.

That sounds like you have some of the parts for three sets of "The Mint" by Johnson Products. There should be some sort of tricky coin/aluminum disk thingies that go with them.

If the 3 cubes with holes resemble blank dice this may be Jerry Mentzer's shell game using blank dice with small holes and small steel ball bearings. Check out if you are holding the cube one way the ball drops out, another way it doesn't.
This was from the early 90's.
There may be a reason for the 3 cubes without holes but I don't remember for sure.

I looked them up and it doesn't look likeThe Mint or the shell game.
I was hoping the picture which I tried to send would be self explanatory.
Im trying again to send after resizing in Photoshop.

The 3 balls are steel and are attracted by a magnet. All 6
cubes look like aluminum. 3 of them are solid and the other 3 have holes for the

I have to figure out why my pics are not getting attached.
I resized them to below 75KB and less than 500 x 300 pixels. Saved as a jpg.
I teach computers and Photoshop and this is very embarrassing and frustrating.

It sounds like what Gary mention by Jerry Mentzer- Easy Shell Game. The book below has some imformation on it. I think the going price is about $40

I looked at the image of Jerry Mentzer shell game and the 3 cubes looks similar except mine is not plastic. It is metal (aluminum?) and there are 3 extra cubes which are solid. No holes.
