Thank you for all of your wonderful responses! I was surprised to see so many similar effects being offered as the go to trick. That's why they are classics! I am curious to hear from the guys who are known in the field, who lurk, and sometimes post in this section. Any favorites you like to do when asked to do something? Again, not really asking for a specific routine, just the plot. Hope to hear from ya'll soon!
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

OK
If I hit the road and want to take something surefire, I stick a small version of Professor's Nightmare into my pocket. I do a very quick routne with it. Show the ropes, gather the ends, and strech'm. Then I show them separate with a fairly sophisticated count. Then I say, "Of course they never were the same length," Barmaids flip over it. Oops, sorry. I reread the first post and realize you want a coin trick. Well, that would be Expansion of Texture. When I do it the spectator that holds the props will not look in the hank they are so stunned. A friend will often take it out of the helpers hands to see what is inside. Often someone that just saw it will go get a friend and have me do it for them. Sometimes people see it several times. Doesn't seem to be a problem.
Magic Al. Say it fast and it is magical.

Two in the hand, one in the pocket. That's my favourite opener..
I don't know where exactly it belongs.. It's neither a transposition, nor a vanish and reproduction.

I usually go with Ponta's "Tenkai Pennies" and/or my "One Coin Routine".
I also always have a [ for Homer "Coin Two".

I start with a copper coin and a few quick "one coin routine" moves before getting into Spellbound, changing the copper coin to the same coin but in sterling silver. It's easy to have a silver coin copper plated (which means that it's not a coin switchh but a change of nature), and people don't know about older coins and the few ones who do are even more intriqued. The idea behind this is that magic makes things more precious before multiplying them and then letting them magically travel. The rationale is that if magic existed it would give us access to more of the precious things... but spectators need to know that an orange is an orange before realizing that it changed into an apple.
