Hot Earth Dreamers are being given nightmares so that they hand over our money and power to the Rockefellers et el, who go right back to the beginning of the idea. As Winston Churchill rightly said 'The farther back you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.'

I don't know. I saw "The Day After Tomorrow" already so I don't know that I need to read Hot Earth Dreams too.

Sorry Jonathan but I find "Hot Earth Dreams" to be as unconvincing as "The Population Bomb" should have been when it was first published. Predictions of doom and gloom by environmentalists about the future rarely if ever pan out. However, at least it's got a great title for one of it's chapters. "The Fart That Broke Civilization"!

You actually want correct predictions? You got some nerve buddy. We are all just supposed to be scared and not debate it. Try to keep up.

Reality-based community is an informal term in the United States, used to refer to people who base their opinions more on observation than on ideology or doctrine—that the people rely on their observation of reality instead of seeking to shape reality in the image of their plans. The term has been defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from judicious study of discernible reality." It can be seen as an example of political framing.
The source of the term is a quotation in an October 17, 2004, The New York Times Magazine article by writer Ron Suskind, "Faith, Certainty and the Presidency of George W. Bush," quoting an unnamed aide to George W. Bush (later attributed to Karl Rove[1]): The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."[2] See also[edit] Consensus reality Truthiness References https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality-based_community

Consensus reality[1][2] is that which is generally agreed to be reality, based on a consensus view.
The appeal to consensus arises from the fact that humans do not fully understand or agree upon the nature of knowledge or ontology, often making it uncertain what is real, given the vast inconsistencies between individual subjectivities.[3][4] We can, however, seek to obtain some form of consensus, with others, of what is real. We can use this consensus as a pragmatic guide, either on the assumption that it seems to approximate some kind of valid reality, or simply because it is more "practical" than perceived alternatives. Consensus reality therefore refers to the agreed-upon concepts of reality which people in the world, or a culture or group, believe are real (or treat as real), usually based upon their common experiences as they believe them to be; anyone who does not agree with these is sometimes stated to be "in effect... living in a different world."[5] Throughout history this has also raised a social question as to the effects of a society in which all individuals do not agree upon the same reality. Children have sometimes been described or viewed as "inexperience[d] with consensus reality,"[6] though are described as such with the expectation that their perspective will progressively form closer to the consensus reality of their society as they age. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consensus_reality

So, I ask again of the climate deniers, since not a one answered me before: What is the minimum evidence it would take for you to believe that manmade climate change is real? Anything at all? Or is evidence not something you're interested in?

But when you get contrary evidence you dismiss it. The emails, Al Gore movie and other things. You are as dug in as the other side.
