Watching the trailer, this looks so darn clean. Anyone who picked it up at Magic Live care to share their feelings on it? Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I searched this forum for existing threads, but didn't think about latest/greatest.

This is an amazing and brilliant piece of magic. I have seen Josh perform it in person and it is very weel thought out.

I have it very well constructed. I have a question. How do you handle the scenario where 1) the number cards are burned and 2) the ladies are burned? To remain consistent with the elimination theme?

I already announced that there will only be three questions. And that the last one is about saving one card from burning. Ask which of the burning Queen should be saved. Act fast. Show the burn marks! Just saved in time!!! There you go.

Mkarav -
I have bought the effect since my last post and yes, it is great. The answers to your above questions are well explained on the DVD included with the trick. If you do own it, I suggest you re-watch the DVD. Best wishes.

Thanks I watched the DVD but it glosses over the scenario I just mentioned. I guess the best way is as mentioned above, move on quickly from burning' the ladies to saving one lady and the inconsistency will hopefully not be noticed.

They say they want to burn the queens and you say "Perfect, we will burn the queens and while they are all engulfed in flames this is where you get to be the hero..." Then you burn the queens (as they requested) and they pull one from the flames. Seems perfectly consistent to me. I think you possibly may be missing the underlying psychology that makes this work so well. |

Without giving away the method, one question: can any of the four queens be shown charred at the end or are there only two ways out?
Don't answer if you feel this would reveal too much... Thanks mlippo |

Just picked this up a few days ago from Josh's lecture. Looks beautiful, I wish it came with instructions how to put the box together.

Owning something like this just helps further one's magic education - a great alternative to any pick a card plot. my opinion.

It is a real reputation maker! I really love this trick! I have had it as a finisher six times this year - every time it has been a real killer effect. Best buy for me last year.

Pepka, did you solve to assemble the match box? Sorry for not responding earlier.

Eventually got it, with a bit of scotch tape on the inside to reinforce. Might I suggest in future releases maybe adding some instructions? Otherwise, it is brilliant!

If you are not looking for it, you will not pick it up. As Jay said the burning of the matches has a very subtle and psychological influence over you.
