Mr Calvert performed at our magic club in Victoria British Columbia a number of years ago, and was fantastic.
I remember learning the watch steal and had just bought a new watch to practice on , but stopped using it because it was nearly impossible to do a watch steal with, The band was extremely tight and the pin would get stuck constantly , but I liked the watch so kept wearing it. on the night that Mr Calvert performed he brought me up on stage and I thought, Oh ,no, if he tries with this watch he's screwed! Also it won't be magical for me since I know how the watch steal is done. He performed his routine and I swear when I looked down at my wrist and saw it gone, I nearly pooped. Bravo Mr Calvert Bravo.
