Does anybody have any experience cleaning the writing surface? If so, what have you found to be the best practice. Thank you for any knowledge you pass along.

Water and a clean rag is the best. We have found you need to clean after a few performances.

Also, in training your assistants stress the importance to treat this illusion with "kids gloves". If treated properly this will last for years. But one bad handling can create a tear. My shop manager keeps spare material on hand to replace when needed. I am not sure of what it is used for in the real world, but can find out if anyone is interested.
