Hi, I was just wondering who your favorite performers who died young or who's career ended too early. Mine are, in no particular order. Brandon and Bruce Lee. I am a big fan of all things related to "The Crow" and also a huge Martial Arts film fan, Chris Farelly and John Belushi SNL is not as funny without them, Kurt Cobain The Music industry lost one of it's greatest performers, River Phoenix great actor, not sure if the next really counts, but, I think they are two of the greats John Candy and Dudley Moore. How about you lot?
Regards, Luke

Hi,
I also thought of Brandon Lee and the name River Pheonix came to mind as well. I'm sure I'm forgetting many greats that died before their time. I'm also a old movie buff so the names of Jean Harlow and Marilyn Monroe popped in my head too. Still, despite losing these people when most were at the peak of their careers gave them immortality in the publics view. |

Yes, John Candy and Dudley Moore count (they were young at heart).
To name just a few of my favorites, and I am not sure what qualifies as young. Bobby Darin (Don't forget to check out Kevin Spacey's new movie) James Dean Marilyn Monroe (I can't spell) Richie Valens John Lennon (hey, 40 is young) Sal Mineo Iven

Jerry Garcia (wasnt real young, but still a tough one), Chris Farley, John Belushi are a couple of others. Terrible waste but a strong statement against drug abuse, I guess.
Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch?

John Ritter was TOO young. He career spanned all aspects of TV and film, but he deserved to stay a little longer.

Yeah The British Bulldog had a hard time. His life was just messed up. As you know he was married to one of Bret and Owen hart's many sisters. They were going to get a divorce.
The Bulldog was having trouble with prescription drugs ever since breaking his neck or something. He had terrible back pain. He was going to go to court over trying to shoot Bruce hart(Another brother) then he suddenly had a heart attack he was like 39. He will be sadly missed. Also thought when it comes to wrestling tragedies the list is endless Hawk, Rick Rude, Brian Pillman, Yokozuna, Classy Freddy Blassie, Miss Elizabeth, Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, The Ultimate Warrior. Sorry, huge wrestling fan. I am starting to ramble. Phil Hartman's dead another great SNL guy
