Videoman,

Actually, I simply say "He responds to music. Here let me show you." Segues right into it smooth as silk.

My cell phone isn't hyper loud, so it's really not a problem.

Update: So we here at System 6 Magic have been searching High and Low for Cool Necklaces and Boxes that go Hand and Hand with the Haunted Doll. In the Meanwhile we have found these Cool, Carry-Around Leather Cases to put your Doll in, I think the shapes interesting and isn't too novelty like Smile

Please Tell us what you think of these?

Some more pictures might make it easier to tell, but from this one it doesn't look bad. I was thinking more along the lines of a pouch, but I like the looks of this too. As I mentioned before, one could burn a symbol into the leather and wear it as a necklace then you have the attention-getter as well as the more-to-come aspect.

Here is another, Image, The Pouch is built in a triangular shape with a latch that snaps shut. Again, This would be for those who want a "different" type carry-around case. Keep In mind we'll still be releasing a Box, and Necklace.

Over Halloween I purchased a few Coffin shaped wooden boxes at Michaels. They are a great size for the doll. I painted one flat back with a cross on the front and a pentagram on the inside lid. Also installed a small motor, battery and mercury switch so the box will vibrate and move when stood on end. If you would like to see pics send me a PM with your e-mail.

Although extremely time consuming I thing a very old book with the pages cut out would work great to keep the HD in. As if someone was trying to keep it a secret from the family. Kind of, "I was cleaning under the basement stairs and found this hidden away. Must have been some previous owners. I enjoy tinkering and did make up a Blair Witch version. I I only did this for fun and have no intentions to make anymore.

My little HD...love the carrying ideas that are being passed around. I freaked my wife out with this one I made. Told her I found it when I was cleaning out the basement...I used a type of thread which give is the look of real hair...as if it was held together with hair. Pretty creepy. I was going to wrap with thread, but thought I'd give this a try.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread so I mean no offense to the new HD creators.

If you want to see, just shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to show you. Please no request to make any...I simply only do this for self entertainment

Making a Blair Witch doll for one's own use might be ok, but I'd say making them for the purpose of selling without licensing or permission would be infringing on trademark or copyright.

I thought that too,but did see the shape on a symbol chart.
Maybe it is something, they may have borrowed?
Five ends, and the upside down part of pentagram behind, the little v shape.
And,I wasn't wanting them made for everyone! Smile
I was asking for one my self, getting lazy,Dr Van Van Mojo! lol
Not being Snarky,if it come across like that!

Got this about 10 days ago and haven't worked it yet.

However, I used to do the same effect, with the same method but using a straw doll a few years ago.

Reactions were allways great(especially with the women). Any sort of animation gets strong results.

I had a great presentation which was light but spooky at the same time. Also, you could incorpate a little palm reading as well.

DVD is great quality with very good teaching and some good tips(but to be honest if you have worked this for a while you will have discovered them for yourself). The information saves you making mistakes & puts you on the road to great performances straight away.

I also think that this version is slightly harder to do than the straw doll version as the gimmick is smaller, but it's still easy to master.

The gimmick is more hidden than on other models of this effect, but I would not hand it out for examination as I feel that someone could stumble on the secret & would make a point(no pun intended) of telling the rest of the group. That said, there is info.on the disc which gives the participants a chance to handle it which conveys the impression that it has been examined. Also, if a performer is letting an audience member dictate what is happening then that is a problem in itself.

In conclusion, amyone with performance experience should be able to create a staggering reaction with this prop.

Excellent release. Buy it & use it.

Looks like a coin carrier I saw recently. Would need to add something to it so it's not just plain leather. Stress it, make it look older at the very least.

Barts185: Yea that's precisely what it is, it is usually used for coins and or / Handkerchiefs. Our goal is to find cool accessories that fit (Different people's styles)with the Haunted Doll. For example this pouch works for me, as I might want to carry it around with me during an upscale walk around gig, where I'm wearing a suit and want something with character but that doesn't completely clash with what I'm wearing. Might use the necklace on an everyday basis and might use the box we're making for close up settings or for close friends and Family

Samuel : Huh? I thought this was already explained LOL, of course it can be examined .

Cool effect, I have it but still don't have my sweet spot.
I saw one for sale on the boards and wanted to point out that I think buying or selling them used may not be a great idea as I believe it may be a possible source of infection.

Yea, Definitely...Anyone re-selling should be "called out " on it. This effect most importantly can't be resold. glad you have your own LOL....

PS: What is with all the weird posts?? someone wrote something about a sharpie? And another person wrote that it's not examinable? are the threads mixing??
